As we enter into the next stage of the competition — we will announce the seven finalists any time now — the sheer amount of stuff that we need to do is dawning on us. It’s humongous. That is why we are calling on the tech cabal. We need your help.
Ignore the U.S Army reference. The kinds of people are we looking for with the Battlefield competition are -
1. Young people who can assist with registration, event setup, administrative tasks, technical assistance, and more.
2. People that know their way around electronics and venue equipment – lights, camera, sound, that stuff.
3. People who are good with venues, spaces and interiors and know not only how to place things, but know how to keep them in place.
4. Writers — we can never have enough writers to help with communications and other kinds of content.
5. Social media mavens — digital natives who will help us work Twitter, Facebook and the rest of the interwebs.
6. Graphic artists.
